How did you get into debt?
My debts are all from my college tuition. I had to get a student parent plus loan to pay off my school tuition and I still have tuition left to pay not including the loan.
How does your economic reality effect your art?
It makes it rough sometimes for materials. I started to collect scraps and found materials to create on when I was strapped. And it has just continued. I also make sure to now get money up front for materials.
Would your work look different if you weren't in debt?:
I would not think that my debt will have a lot of effect on my work from school; however, I would have had more freedom to express in materials, size, and ideas if I had no burden on money.
