How does your economic reality effect your art?
I live in the rural Midwest in order to be able to pay a mortgage and start to pay the principal on my student loans. I would much rather live in a big city (where I used to live) but can't afford to. My art has suffered from a stifling culture shock and lack of appreciation for my type of work. I can't leave right now.
Would your work look different if you weren't in debt?:
Yes. I would not have the job I have now and my technical abilities would be a lower level.
