How did you get into debt?
Student Loans mainly. I have some credit card debt as well. The credi card debt is mainly from car repairs, groceries, art supplies, gas, and vet bills.

How does your economic reality effect your art?
We all would like more time in the studio. More time to visit museums, to go to gallery openings and meet fellow artists and gallerists. The biggest affect is I'm unable to apply to artist registries due to my need of having multiple jobs in order to support my debt and living expenses.

Would your work look different if you weren't in debt?:
This is hard to say. There would be a tremendous weight lifted off my back and therefore could change the way I experience and process things in my daily life which could very well change the direction of my work, in some way or another.
