"Untitled", October 2016, Acrylic and Oil on Canvas, 70 in x 72 in.
How does your economic reality effect your art?
My economic realty dictates what materials I'm able to buy and how big I'm able to work. It also forces me to work in a way that I feel that I can market and one day sell, so that I can eventually make money. I do this while keeping true to what I want my art to be about.

Would your work look different if you weren't in debt?:
Yes, I would be making work on a much larger scale. I have always wanted to incorporate installations with my painting, which is something I can not do without a space that is completely mine and funds to make my dreams happen.
